Brikwars Endeavors
This page is a list and short explanation of my plethora of goals, battles, and armies in the fantastic game of Brikwars. Hopefully it’s concise, and will contain links, so as to reduce the amount of random crap I have to explain to you people.
Battles!
Saturday Smash-Off #1
This was one of our first, and possibly most historic battles (from one of those mind-blowing, world-stopping, spleen-combusting sleepover point of views) between kidko and I. Obviously enough, it took place on a Saturday. One of the things that gave us a level of infamy on the Brikwars Battle Forums was the fact that during an opponents turn, a player would take and post pictures of the battle so far in a thread on the forums, thus updating the forums to the goings-on and spectacular deaths every few minutes.
Saturday Smash-Off #2
The second of a series of battles between kidko and I (as I remember correctly, the name of this one is a misnomer; this battle took place on Sunday at 3 AM. we were rather punch drunk at tat point in time, and therefore remembered it as a Saturday). This one was one of the more spectacular ones, as each player had a so-called “super weapon” at their disposal. They bracketed the battlefield, and near the very end, kidko’s super weapon was destroyed by mine, causing a spectacular crater that (literally) took up half of the battlefield.
Armies!
The Undying Tek
The undying Tek are a futuristic undead army. It’s also unintentionally proven itself to be an effective fast attack force, with many speedy vehicles, and a large portion of the troops riding on skeletal horses. Any units without horses have large guns with which to back up that charging mass. So far, they are undefeated, much to kidko’s chagrin.
The Mercenary Mechaniks
A small fighting force made up of mechaniks, using the rules that were created on the Brikwars Battle Forums. The army pretty much includes among it’s ranks a small plastic baggie of lego debris for them to build upon, as well as a couple of pre-made creations. The small skirmish force is not made for fast attack; instead quite the opposite. They prefer to stay back and blast everything with large weapons. There’s no point in exhausting your energy to run up and attack the enemy: as long as they never make it to your side of the battlefield, it’s all good. The Mercenary Mechaniks have so far only had one battle, which they won, once again to kidko’s chagrin.
The Submariners
The Submariners are a (mostly) underwater fighting force, their main weapon design being small, portable gatling guns that work underwater. Their main stratagem is stealth fighting. They attempt to go about unseen, and if possible suddenly flank the enemy force. This small band of people and aquatic vehicles is as of now untested, besides their troop transport.
Goals!
Finish all of my army concepts to the point that I can field at least 2,000 cp’s worth of each of them, and have many more glorious battles with kidko, as well as pick up some better building skills, mostly by keeping track of Mecha Hub and LAML Radio.
